Recipes in this episode include:

Bulk Manhattan

  • 12 oz rye or bourbon
  • 4 to 6 oz sweet vermouth
  • 1 tsp bitters
  • 5 oz bottled water

Mix all ingredients in a pitcher and chill for at least 6 hours before serving. Garnish with cherries or lemon twists.

Bocce Ball

  • 2 oz Amaretto
  • 3 oz orange juice

Build in listed order over ice in an old fashioned glass.

Champagne Bowl

  • 16 oz brandy
  • 8 oz curaçao
  • 12 oz lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 16 oz soda
  • 2 bottles champagne

Mix all but champagne in a punch bowl and chill until guests arrive. Add a block of ice and champagne, garnish with slices strawberries and oranges.

Champagne Cocktail

  • 1 sugar cube soaked in Angostura bitters
  • 5 oz chilled champagne

Build in listed order in a cold champagne flute. Garnish with a twist of lemon.

Cider Cup

  • 2 oz maraschino liqueur
  • 2 oz curaçao
  • 2 oz brandy
  • 16 oz hard cider
  • 8 oz soda

Stir with ice and garnish with fruit.

Cobbler

  • 3 oz spirit of choice
  • 1 oz syrup or sweet liqueur
  • fruits in season

Build in listed order in a wine glass filled with crushed ice.

Gin Rickey

  • 2 oz gin
  • 3/4 oz lime juice
  • 3-4 oz soda

Build over ice and garnish with a lime wedge.

Greyhound

  • 2 oz vodka or gin
  • 3 oz grapefruit juice

Build in an ice-filled old fashioned glass.

Highball

  • 2 oz spirit of your choice
  • 6 oz soda, ginger ale, lemon-lime soda, tonic water, etc.

Build in a highball (tall) glass over ice. Garnish with a slice or twist of your favorite citrus.

Nelson’s Blood

  • 1-1/2 oz ruby port
  • 4 oz cold champagne

Build in a chilled champagne flute.

Presbyterian

  • 2 oz rye
  • 2 oz cola
  • 2 oz ginger ale

Build in a glass over ice and garnish with a twist of lemon.

Quick French 75

  • 1 oz gin
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp simple syrup
  • 4 oz cold champagne

Build in a tall glass of ice and garnish with a cherry or twist of lemon.

Salty Chihuahua

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 3 oz grapefruit juice

Build in an ice-filled, salt-rimmed old fashioned glass.

Salty Dog

  • 2 oz vodka or gin
  • 3 oz grapefruit juice

Build in an ice-filled, salt-rimmed old fashioned glass.

The Special Relationship

  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 4 oz cola

Build in an old fashioned glass of ice and garnish with a wedge of lime.
